Here’s a great walk to discover the city of Bordeaux.

The starting point is Place de la Victoire, but as the itinerary is a loop, you can start wherever suits you best.

The map below is interactive, so you can zoom in for a better view. The burgundy lines correspond to walking routes, and the blue lines to boat shuttles routes. The latter are operated by the city’s public transport system. So you can take a little cruise on the Garonne at low cost! Finally, points of interest are represented by the purple icons.

If distances are too long, I recommend you skip the Bordeaux Maritime section and take streetcar B directly from the Cité du Vin, returning to the Place des Quinconces.
